Dr. Jacqueline Aenlle teaches and advises students in agricultural communication and journalism. She received her bachelor's degree in dairy science and a master's in agricultural education from California State University, San Luis Obispo, before completing a doctoral degree specializing in agricultural communication at the University of Florida. Her teaching areas include new media technologies, introduction to agricultural communication, crisis communication, and video production. Her research interests include urban consumers' perceptions and connectedness to agriculture, information processing, science communication, and trust in science. Dr. Aenlle also has a research interest in the use of new media technologies for informal education and the relationship between industry and institutions of higher education.
