CASE Institute Schedule

The CASE AgXplore Middle School Institute this summer is being held on Tuesday, June 20th, and Wednesday, June 21st, in Manhattan, KS at the Agronomy Education Center.

Check-in: Tuesday, June 20th at 12:30 pm we will begin to check-in participants. We will start the training at 1:00 pm at Kansas State University’s Agronomy Educational Center, 2200 Kimball Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.

Host Logistics: Kansas State University is excited to host this institute, Brandie Disberger at bdis@ksu.edu is your host contact.

Housing: You will be staying at the Bluemont hotel, 1212 Bluemont Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502. We will make the reservations for you and provide roommate information. If you need an extra night (at your expense) feel free to contact them directly to do so. If you do not want a room, please let me know, it will not change the cost of the conference.

Attire: We will be utilizing University classrooms and laboratory spaces. The temperature in these rooms can vary, so dressing in layers is suggested. Please dress comfortably but professionally each day, most days we will be in the classroom conducting laboratory experiments, be sure to bring some close-toed shoes.

Parking: Parking passes are not required at the Agronomy Education Center.

Meals: On Thursday evening we will provide a group meal. On Wednesday, breakfast will be provided at the hotel, and we will have boxed lunches delivered to the Agronomy Educational Center.

Graduate Credit: 1 credit hour of graduate credit can be provided at the full graduate tuition rate, contact Brandie Disberger at bdis@ksu.edu for enrollment details.
