Maggie SeilerMajor: Ag Communications & Journalism / Animal Sciences & IndustryHometown: Valley Center, Kan.Why did you choose ACJ?I really like the opportunity to promote the industry to those who don’t have the same background. I went to a private high school in Wichita and knew I wanted to expose those who knew nothing about agriculture to the life I had at home. How is the Department of Communications and Agricultural Education helping you with your career goals? They make sure students are prepared, by keeping us informed of jobs/opportunities. Everyone is willing to assist me and help me get where I want to be.What’s your favorite part of being an ACJ major? The size and focus of the department is a big draw. Everyone knows each other and you feel involved - even as an underclassman. How have you gotten involved on campus?
