Linda edits and coordinates production of extension publications for the School of Family Studies and Human Services; Department of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health; Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering; and 4-H Youth Development. She manages publications through editing and design, printing, and electronic/print distribution. Linda is the communication liaison for the Family and Child Development Program Focus Team, maintains the K-State Research and Extension Style Guide, and chairs the Communicator of the Year committee. Her other university service includes serving on the K-State Research and Extension Diversity and Inclusion Task Force and being a member of the President’s Commission on Religious, Spiritual, and Nonreligious Diversity.

Linda was formerly a reporter and copy editor at the Junction City Daily Union, the assistant director of the Huck Boyd National Center for Community Media, and an instructor in the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Kansas State University. She is a member of the Association for Communication Excellence.
