Amanda edits scientific manuscripts and publications and manages the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station Research Reports, in addition to promoting research through social and traditional media. She is primarily responsible for editing manuscripts to be submitted to scientific journals, and for coordinating production of KAES research reports through editing, design, printing, and print and online distribution.

Prior to this position, Amanda served as communications coordinator for the K-State Department of Agricultural Economics, and as an extension assistant for the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Oklahoma State University. She is a member of the Council of Science Editors.
