Professor, Agricultural Education
Shannon provides teacher education in agriculture and teacher professional development, provides domestic and international faculty professional development in curriculum and pedagogy, advises undergraduate and graduate students, and coordinates graduate programs.
Shannon was formerly an assistant professor of agricultural education at the University of Florida and was an agricultural education teacher at Hugoton High School. He is a member of the American Association for Agricultural Education, the National Association of Agricultural Educators, the Association of Career and Technical Education, the National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture, and the 2012 USDA LEAD 21 Class.
