Jason teaches courses and advises students for undergraduate and graduate programs in agricultural communications and journalism, he co-advises the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow student organization, and he conducts and disseminates communications research through an appointment with the Kansas State University Agricultural Experiment Station.
Jason was formerly an assistant professor of agricultural journalism at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a food safety extension specialist at Iowa State University. He is the research director and research special interest group chair for the Association for Communication Excellence and is an editorial board member for the Journal of Applied Communications.
