Animal Science Impacts

Animal agriculture is very important to Kansas. The Department of Animal Sciences and Industry conducts extensive research to aid animal agriculturists across the state to help them raise more productive, healthier, and better livestock

The 2005 informal report to the Kansas legislature provides information about cattle ID, using ultrasound on cattle, and the influence of weaning age on swine.
