To add calendars

Through Web Mail

In the left hand column where your list of calendars are the first line is MY CALENDARS. Right click on this header. You should get and option to “open calendar”, choose this option.

You will get a pop up window. In this window use the “From Directory:” box and type in the name of the person you are wanting to acquire/share. It should start a search.

Choose open.

Through Outlook

Under the home tab in your calendar view, across the top of the window find the icon that says “open calendar”.

Drop down and select “open shared calendar.

Type in name of person you are wanting to acquire/share.

For department calendars or room calendars you will need to type in the something different.

If you have other calendars that you need to locate contact the parties in charge of them for their address to be able to search for them.

 

To set up permissions to your own calendar

Through Web Mail

In the left hand column where your list of calendars is there will be one that is listed as calendar under the heading MY CALENDARS. This is your personal calendar unless you have renamed it. Right click on this header and it will give you an option for permissions. It will also give you the option to share your calendar.

Through Outlook

Under the home tab in your calendar view, across the top of the window find the icon that says “ calendar permissions”.

Simply click this icon and click on the permissions tab and add.

 

To set up automatic replies messages

Through Web Mail

Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner and select options.

Click on organize mail in the left hand column.

Select instant reply from the options on the left.

Through Outlook

Click on the File tab across the top of the window.

Choose the automatic replies option.

 

To set up an email signature

Through Web Mail

Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner and select options.

Click on Settings in the left hand column.

Through Outlook

Click on New E-Mail as if you were creating a new email.

In this window across the top look for the button that says “Signature” – click it.

Drop down and select signature and create.

This is how you will find them to add to your messages if they are not automatically added.
