Leadership Communication PhD

The program in Leadership Communication advances interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches to understanding and engages the most complex challenges of our time. This research degree is grounded in the conviction that meaningful change best happens through the deliberate and democratic exchange of ideas and perspectives, questions and stories among all who are affected by or have a stake in the processes and outcomes of change.

Leadership communication is a process of creating change through public engagement:

  • learning,
  • studying,
  • doing,
  • cultivating, and
  • advocating for change.
