CASE Graduate CreditCASE Institute description

CASE Institute is a professional development workshop to provide teachers with training for the instruction related to a specific CASE course. CASE Institute sessions give teachers an important background related to the pedagogy used in CASE curricula as well as practice teaching various lessons to prepare them for classroom instruction.

CASE Graduate Credit:

The Kansas State University Agricultural Education Faculty is excited to share a lower, more competitive tuition rate for high-quality professional development received from K-State through the Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) program.

Contractual Market-Based Tuition for Agriculture Teachers

  • 3 credit hours for participation in full CASE institutes can be obtained for a total cost (tuition and fees) of $250/per credit hour or $750 for three graduate credit hours (50% of the standard rate and no fees) OR upon completion of the CASE Foundations module and TWO BriefCASEes (Ag Explorations AgX, Ag Business Foundations ABF, Small Gas Engines SGE, etc.), you can enroll in three graduate credit hours at our approved reduced rate ($750).

  • Up to 6 credit hours of reduced tuition can be earned and used toward a graduate degree at K-State. These hours may be taken through K-State and transferred to other Universities based on their policies.

  • Because CASE is a standard curriculum across all institutions, credit can be obtained for an institute, regardless of the host or location. Participants will be required to provide the certificate issued by CASE as proof of certification.

  • The reduced tuition for CASE (AGED 615, 3 graduate credit hours) can begin on July 1st, 2023. You can complete an institute prior to or in July and receive credit this summer or the following fall semester.

  • Current K-State graduate students can enroll now. If you are not currently in the graduate program, you can enroll as a non-degree-seeking student (if you later choose to apply to graduate school, they can then be applied toward your degree).
